Sylwia Szykowna

holds a PhD in the humanities and is an assistant professor at the Institute of Cultural Studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Her research focuses on questions related to new technologies and culture, with particular emphasis on the socio‑cultural dimensions of AI’s development. She is a member of the nationwide SOWA team examining the social circulation of academic knowledge. She has also co‑edited a special issue of the quarterly Kultura Współczesna devoted to AI as a cultural phenomenon.
