Mathilde Roman

Academy of Fine Art and Scenography, Monaco

is a French art critic, curator, and researcher specializing in the history of exhibitions and scenography. She serves as a professor at the Pavillon Bosio – École Supérieure d’Arts Plastiques de la Ville de Monaco, where she teaches courses in art and scenography. She is the author of On Stage and Habiter la scénographie. Quand le display fait œuvre (2025), in which she analyzes contemporary exhibition practices. She actively participates in international curatorial and research projects, focusing on the relationships between art, space, and the body.
