Aleksandra Twardokęs

is a researcher and graphic designer whose academic and creative practice centres around writing and literacy. Her work which mostly concerns the relationship between writing and other media of knowledge combines her experience in design with theoretical knowledge in linguistics and cultural studies. She is a co‑founder and member of the Sign and Symbol research group (Faculty of Modern Languages, University of Warsaw) and a doctoral candidate at the Doctoral School of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków.
